Okay, what do you think? I'm making these to sell at craft fairs this season. Besides keychains, I have also been making pendants with the spoon bowls and forks. Thanks to those from the forum for looking and letting me know what you think.
I use Irwin brand cobalt drill bits using an electric drill. But....the most important thing that you have to do is to make starter holes or the drill will just dance all other the place. This will also help you avoid injuries. Use an awl and hammer a small indention into the piece you are going to drill. Just enough for the drill bit to get in place. Then it should work like drilling into butter. If it doesn't happen fairly quick, you may have a drill bit that has burnt out and won't drill. Let me know if you still have problems. It can be very aggravating. This is the hardest step of all!

I've tried drilling holes in my silverplate flatware. It's super hard! How do you Make your holes?
